By accessing ex-academy.co, applying to, or attending EX Epic Academy (the “Academy”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not accept them, do not use the website or apply.
The Academy is hosted by EPIC SOLUTIONS PT., with operations in Bali, Indonesia, in collaboration with EX Venture Group. Communications: academy@exventure.co.
The Academy is an educational product accelerator not a university, not a recruitment agency, and not a visa sponsor. Any credential received is not recognized as a formal academic qualification in Indonesia or abroad.
All internships and live-program placements conducted in Indonesia are unpaid. Under Indonesian labour and immigration law, trainee and internship engagements are not salaried employment and may not be remunerated. Any participation is offered for education, mentorship, and experience only not as employment.
Outstanding operators who deliver exceptional execution may, at our sole discretion, be invited to join paid roles or venture-backed projects after the program. Such invitations are separate, voluntary, and never guaranteed by participation in the Academy.
Most builders travel to Bali on a social/cultural visa (B211A) or an equivalent permitted entry. Visa eligibility, duration, and conditions are set by Indonesian immigration and may change without notice. It is your responsibility to confirm the correct visa for your nationality and intended length of stay before you travel.
EX Epic Academy, EPIC SOLUTIONS PT., and EX Venture Group do not process or sponsor visas directly. We can make an introduction to a licensed third-party visa agent who can assist you, but we accept no responsibility for the agent’s services, accuracy of advice, or the outcome of any application. All visa costs and arrangements remain your responsibility.
There is no tuition fee for the Academy program. The 4-to-6-month AI product accelerator is offered at no charge to accepted builders. We do not sell credentials, diplomas, or certificates that count toward any formal academic qualification.
If you choose to live in our shared or private rooms in Bali, you cover the housing footprint (typically $400 USD / month shared, $800 USD / month private). Housing is entirely optional you may live off-campus at your own arrangement. The Academy itself charges nothing.
Payments for housing cover co-living, daily lunch, and 24/7 access to the venture floor for the duration you occupy the room. Any refund is governed by the housing agreement signed at acceptance.
During your live assessment interview, exceptional operators may be offered free housing under our Elite Incentive. Eligibility is decided at our sole discretion based on execution velocity, vision, and capacity to ship. Not every builder is eligible, and the incentive is not guaranteed.
Admission requires an application and a live interview with our admissions team. We assess technical capacity, strategic vision, and ownership. Admission decisions are at our sole discretion and are final.
You must be 18 years or older to apply. Most builders travel to Bali on a social/cultural visa or equivalent; visa costs and arrangements are your responsibility, with our team providing guidance where requested.
The Academy does not guarantee employment, equity, funding, revenue, or any specific commercial outcome. You leave with a portfolio of shipped AI products, a network, and a track record of execution. What you do with that portfolio is up to you.
Performance on the core team, hiring, or venture backing is by mutual invitation only and is never automatic.
You agree to behave professionally: respect the privacy of other builders, mentors, and partners; do not steal, copy, or exfiltrate IP that is not yours; do not harass, discriminate, or disrupt the program. Serious violations may result in immediate removal without refund.
Products you build during the program are governed by your individual mentor/venture agreement. Unless an agreement specifies otherwise, code, designs, and brand assets you create during a venture-backed project remain the property of the relevant venture.
The Academy is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that your participation will result in any market success, employment offer, or financial return. Statements in our marketing materials are aspirational and not promises of outcome.
Testimonials from past builders reflect individual experiences and are not representative or guaranteed.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, EPIC SOLUTIONS PT., EX Venture Group, and their mentors, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your participation in the Academy or use of this website, including for any loss of revenue, time, or opportunity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including UU ITE (UU No. 11 of 2008 as amended by UU No. 19 of 2016 and subsequent amendments), UU PDP (UU No. 27 of 2022), and the relevant implementing regulations.
Any dispute will first be attempted to be settled amicably between the parties. Failing that, the courts of Bali, Indonesia have jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the website or participation in the Academy after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Apply now and a human will walk you through everything else. Every serious applicant hears back within days.
